Lauren Cox is an associate in the civil litigation section of Plunk Smith, PLLC. Lauren joined the firm in November 2020 and focuses her practice on a variety of litigation matters, including personal injury and tort defense, premises liability, and transportation and automobile litigation. Prior to joining Plunk Smith, LLC, Lauren worked for a firm that specialized in municipal law. There, she represented appraisal districts in property tax litigation and served as the city prosecutor for the City of Farmers Branch, Texas. Lauren also has experience handling pre-litigation matters in plaintiffs’ personal injury cases.
Lauren graduated with Special Distinction from the University of Oklahoma, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Minor in History.
She received her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2018.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys traveling, reading, indoor cycling, walking her dog Frankie, and spending time with her family and friends.
