Justin is an associate in the civil litigation section of Plunk Smith, PLLC. Justin focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on construction defect, premises liability, contractual disputes, creditors rights and commercial collection matters. Justin is admitted to practice before all state courts in Texas, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.
Prior to joining the firm, Justin was an associate at a boutique commercial litigation firm in Dallas, where he managed a large case load representing a wide variety of businesses and individuals ranging from multi-national companies to local small businesses. This afforded Justin the opportunity to manage cases and represent clients from inception through judgment or settlement. It also allowed Justin to represent clients in more than twenty jury and non-jury trials and attend more than fifty mediations in a relatively short period of time.
Justin graduated from Texas A&M University in 2011 and received his J.D. from Baylor Law School, where he was a Merit Scholarship recipient, Dean’s List member, member of the Baylor Law Pro Bono Transactional Team and attended the Academy of the Advocate: School of the Trial.
Justin is an active member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Dallas Bar Association and Texas Aggie Bar Association. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking, golfing and Aggie football.
