Born and raised in Frisco, Texas, Preston joined Plunk Smith in February 2022 as a member of the firm’s transactional team. Preston focuses on corporate re-structuring, mergers & acquisitions, real estate transactions, entity formation, drafting corporate agreements, and negotiating transaction specific documents and contracts. Prior to joining Plunk Smith, Preston served as in-house counsel for one the largest title companies in the United States. Preston brings vast experience with real estate and title issues that allows him to better serve his clients in the process of selling or purchasing commercial and residential property or who intend to structure a company to be able to invest in real estate.
Preston graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2015 and received his J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law in the Spring of 2018 with a Business Law concentration.

Outside the office, Preston enjoys all Dallas sports, Texas A&M football, Duke basketball, listening to his favorite artists Drake and Post Malone, watching all of the superhero movies, and spending time with friends and family, and his mini goldendoodle Nola.
