Michael Myers

Michael H. Myers is Senior Counsel at Plunk Smith, PLLC, where his practice focuses on commercial litigation, real estate litigation, insurance defense, and bankruptcy litigation. Licensed to practice in Texas since 2001, he brings 25 years of courtroom experience to the firm’s litigation practice.

Before joining Plunk Smith, Michael was a founding shareholder of Myers Wilson P.C. in Dallas, where he represented businesses and individuals in complex commercial disputes, and later practiced through his own firm, Myers Law Firm. His experience spans breach-of-contract and business-tort claims, real estate and landlord-tenant disputes, creditor’s-rights and bankruptcy matters, and insurance defense.

Michael is known for a practical, trial-ready approach: evaluating cases early, pressing advantages, and trying cases when settlement doesn’t serve the client.
