Caitlin Phillips is a highly accomplished attorney specializing in complex commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on representing businesses and individuals in the restaurant and hospitality industry. She is a skilled advocate who regularly appears in courts throughout Texas, delivering strategic counsel and effective litigation solutions.
Before joining Plunk Smith, Mrs. Phillips honed her litigation skills in insurance defense, where she developed a comprehensive understanding of risk management and defense strategies. Over the past decade, she has served as outside counsel for a prominent national restaurant chain and successfully defends clients against personal injury claims, product liability disputes, negligent security actions, contractual conflicts, and employment-related matters.
In addition to her litigation practice, Mrs. Phillips advises clients on entity formation and structuring, contract drafting and negotiation, and the development of internal policies and procedures. Her exceptional legal acumen has earned her recognition as a Texas “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers from 2020 to 2026.
Mrs. Phillips graduated magna cum laude from Duquesne University and received her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. She resides in Dallas, Texas, with her family.
